Excerpts from my Ninjette Order fic I'm working on

In no particular order:

“You have a pet dragon,” Tommy stated flatly.

“Yup!”

“And you named it Tommy?!” he almost shouted, which was good because at Kimberly's confirmation, every ranger in the room (plus Zedd, Alpha, and Sabri) burst out laughing.

“We-ll,” Kimberly hedged. “It wasn't my first choice but Sabri refused to actually use my first choice even though I thought it was funny.”

“What was your first choice?” he demanded.

“Happy!”

Jason fell over, tears of mirth in his eyes.

“I don't obsess!” Kim exclaimed and everyone stopped what they were doing to look at her incredulously. She shrunk in on herself a little bit before frowning. “I just think...intensely.”

“Perhaps he has remained in contact with the Aquitains and they told him. Or maybe Trey told Jason; my reports indicate the former red ranger traveled to Triforia a few weeks ago.”

“And Triforia has taken the initiative and already started working on their temple, even though we haven't given them the green light yet,” Kim agreed and then rolled her eyes at Zedd's expression. “Yes, I actually read your reports, try and contain your shock.”
