Noise complaints
Feb. 26th, 2010 06:49 pmSo, for the past two weeks or so, this idiot comes to the parking lot of the apartments and pretty much sits on his horn for a good five-ten minutes. People yell out their windows for him to shut up, but he never does.
I finally called Public Safety (school police) tonight. They're planning on staking out the parking lot for the new few evenings in an attempt to catch and deal with this douche.
In other news, I had to threaten my neighbors with calling Public Safety today. They woke me up at 3am from talking and watching TV and didn't shut up till 4. Usually, when they're talking, I just hear unintelligible murmurs. Last night I could clearly understand their entire conversation and could tell you which episode of SVU they were watching from the dialogue alone. I banged on the wall several times but that did nothing.
So this morning I left a note on their door telling them the next time they wake me up at three in the morning on a school night, I was calling Public Safety, no questions asked.
It might sound a bit extreme but they've been talked to, repeatedly, about the courtesy hours, noise hours, why they have to turn their bass down, etc by the RA several times. Maybe if the ASCPD show up they'll get it through their thick skulls.
