Power Rangers & Doctor Who cross-stitch!

Guess what I've gotten back into recently? Cross-stitching!

I've been making various ranger helmets (as seen before) but now I've also gone into Doctor Who, making a full on bookmark for myself!

I also have an SPD bookmark I'm incredibly proud of!



These were my test runs,essentially, starting with Green, going onto yellow, then pink/red/blue.







Then I went a little further and did the SPD team! Its not the typical width of a bookmark but thats what I'm using it for so...lol




I'd already made a pixel version of the TARDIS so I scaled it down to fit the width of the bookmark.


When I finished with the TARDIS, I decided I didn't like the blank space so I did a quick scaled version of the Daleks and added them to the top.


Once finished with them, I debated on adding either the outline of London, with Big Ben off to the side, or the British flag. As you can see, I decided on the British flag as I disliked every version of the London skyline I came up with.


And the final, full version!

I know people that would run over old ladies to get to that Doctor Who bookmark. its fuckin rad!

Those are awesome! Man I miss cross-stitching. I'm gonna have to get all my threads from my Mom's and finish up old projects/start up some new ones.

How do you make your own patterns? *knows nothing about pixelating things* I've never been very graphic savvy, but being able to make your own would definitely come in handy!

Loved the SPD one, btw. Simply awesome. :D
